We want to be an active church in spreading the HOPE to the nations and in loving those around us. There is a place for everyone to serve and a place for every age group to be involved:

Nursery: We offer nursery for every service.

Children: We have age appropriate Sunday School classes and have an exciting program through the class and on Wednesday nights called Chase for Victory that uses a year long competition that encourages leadership, participation, evangelism, Bible reading and more.

Teens: We use an exciting program on Wednesday nights called Chase for Victory and also on Sundays that uses a year long competition that encourages leadership, participation, evangelism, Bible reading, serving, and more. We attend camp at the Bill Rice Ranch or the Wilds each summer and go on mission trips and get involved in local evangelism. We encourage our teens to take an active part in the service through special music, playing for the offering, ushering, and other opportunities.

Study Groups: Our Adult Sunday school class seeks to cover Scripture and topics in studies that will apply to all ages.

Missions: We believe in supporting missionaries in every way possible, including giving, praying and getting to their field to help. Our desire is to take Acts 1:8 as literal as possible, so we have committed to supporting our:

Outreach: We offer opportunities for door to door visitation, but also encourage our church to be actively involved in their own personal witness or canvassing a neighborhood as a family. We seek to provide outreach opportunities through sports, community involvement, local events, special church events and other opportunities. Some evangelistic activities we have been or are involved with are: All Nations Sunday, International Festival, Education Sunday, Family Night at Chase for Victory, and others.

We also offer mission trips for our teens and adults.

Disciple-Making Ministry: We are thrilled to have a church that has a passion for disciple-making. Every other Sunday, we offer lunch for all and then split up to disciple new believers one on one and/or to meet with a mentor or mentee. We encourage each person to lead someone and to follow someone.

Music: We love for our children, teens and adults to participate in the music programs, special music and offertories in the church.

Sports Ministry: The Upstate Bearcats is a homeschool sports organization that is a ministry of IBC. We offer basketball, volleyball, soccer for those who are homeschooled or those who did not make their school team. For more information, see https://www.facebook.com/UpstateBearcats
